Detox Drink

Add 1.5 spoons of  lemon juice to water soaked overnight & Drink it in the morning or Add 2 spoons of lemon juice  Boil it with water and take it first thing in the morning.

BREAKFAST

Pongal with Sambar:

Take a pan and add moong dal in it. Dry roast till it turns golden and aromatic. Wash the same under running water and transfer it in a deep pan along with rice and enough water to submerge both. Bring it to a boil and turn off the flame, once well cooked. Add salt according to your taste and keep aside.

Next, place a pan on medium flame and add ghee/oil. Now, add ginger in the pan and fry for a minute or two. Add cumin seeds, ginger paste, curry leaves and black pepper along with turmeric powder and asafoetida. Add the dal-rice mixture and stir well for about 5 minutes. Then simmer for about 3-4 minutes on medium flame. Lastly, turn off the flame and transfer it to a serving dish.

LUNCH

Spinach Dal Serve with Quinoa Rice:

  • Wash dal and soak in in a bowl for half an hour.
  • Take a pan and boil 4 cups water in it. Add Dal, turmeric, salt, chili powder and stir well. Cover the pan and cook for 20 minutes. After the dal is cooked mash it and keep it aside.
  • Now take a pan and add oil. Sauté the cumin and mustard seeds. Add the chopped onions and garlic and fry for a minute.
  • Now add the chopped spinach along with red chilli powder sauté for a minute until the spinach become soft. Add the mashed dal along with the required amount of water and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Finally add salt, simmer the palak for 5 minutes.

Ladies finger fry:

Stir fry the chopped ladies’ finger until it changes the color. Add finely chopped onions and tomato and cook it well. Add chili powder, salt, turmeric according to the taste. Mix it well. Leave it on the flame for 2 minutes and then serve it.

SNACKS

Pumpkin soup:

Heat the oil in a pan and then add chopped onion pumpkin and ginger and sauté them for 3 minutes. Add water and cook it until the pumpkin gets soft. Let it cool for some time. Blend it in a mixer to make a thick consistency. Add some water and then cook it for 8 minutes. Add salt and black pepper powder to taste, then serve it.

DINNER

Jowar Roti Serve with Dal:

Take jowar flour and add water gradually and knead into a soft dough. Make medium balls of the dough and roll them with a rolling pan. Heat a tawa and roast the parathas, cooking them on both sides with oil/ without oil (can also use water instead of oil).

Vegetable salad:

Mix together finely chopped onion, cabbage, coriander leaves thickly grated carrot and cucumber. Add black pepper powder, jeera powder, lemon juice and salt to the mixed veggies. Mix the ingredients well and serve it.
