Detox Drink

Add 1.5 spoons of  lemon juice to water soaked overnight & Drink it in the morning or Add 2 spoons of lemon juice  Boil it with water and take it first thing in the morning.

BREAKFAST

Daliya:

  • Dry roast broken wheat for 2-3 minutes until aromatic. Now heat one teaspoon of ghee/oil in a cooker, asafoetida, ginger paste and stir a bit.
  • Now add tomatoes and mix well. Cook till the tomatoes turn mushy.
  • Now add peas, carrots, turmeric and salt to the cooker. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add broken wheat and water. Mix well and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Serve it in a bowl.

LUNCH

Barley Veg Pulao:

  • Clean and soak the pearl barley for 2-3 hours. Pressure cooks in a pressure cooker with a bit of salt for 1 Whistle.
  • Take a pan, add Oil to heat and then add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, sauté them. Add curry leaves, chopped onion, green chillies and sauté until onion turns brown.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and green peas. Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt, turmeric and red chili. Let this cook for some time, until the green peas are cooked. Add the cooked barley. Mix it well. Let this cook for a while and then serve it.

SNACKS

Tomato juice:

Chop tomatoes into small sized pieces. Put the tomatoes, celery, cucumber and parsley in juicer. Add sea salt, pepper and ice. Blend it again.

DINNER

Chapati:

Take wheat flour and add water (can also add milk or curd to make the dough softer) gradually and knead into a soft dough. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it sit for 2 hours as it makes the dough softer. Make medium balls of the dough and roll them with a rolling pan. Heat a tawa and roast the parathas, cooking them on both sides with oil.
