Detox Drink
Add 1.5 spoons of lemon juice to water soaked overnight & Drink it in the morning or Add 2 spoons of lemon juice Boil it with water and take it first thing in the morning.
BREAKFAST
Upma:
- Dry roast sooji rava for 2-3 minute. Now heat one teaspoon of ghee/oil in a pan, asafoetida, onions and stir a bit.
- Now add tomatoes and mix well. Cook till the tomatoes turn mushy.
- Now add peas, carrots, turmeric and salt to the cooker. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add sooji rava and water. Mix well and cook it well. Serve it in a bowl.
LUNCH
Egg curry:
Boil eggs in a pan. Let it cool and then peel them. Now take a pan and add oil to heat, add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and saute them well. Add chopped onions and cook them for two minutes. Now add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste and cook it for 1 minute. Add tomato paste and cook it for 4 minutes. Now add the boiled eggs to the pan. Garnish it with coriander leaves. Serve it.
SNACKS
Vegetable and barley soup:
Wash barley and lentils separately in a bowl and keep aside till required. Put a pressure cooker on medium flame and heat oil in it. Next, add the chopped onions and garlic cloves and saute well for 2 minutes. Add the washed lentil, barley, chopped carrots and salt to the cooker along with two cups of water. Pressure cooks it for about 2-3 whistles. Once cooked, open the lid of the cooker and add finely chopped coriander leaves and black pepper powder to taste. Cook again for one more whistle.
DINNER
Chole curry:
Chole masala: dry roast the bay leaf, fennel seeds, black pepper, cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, dry chilli, clove for 2 minutes. Let it cool and then blend it.
Wash and soak chickpeas overnight. Pressure cook them until 6 whistles. Now, take a pan, add oil to heat, add chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and cook it for 2 minutes. Add masala prepared earlier, add chilli powder, and salt saute it well. Add the tomato paste and cook it for 5 minutes. Now, add the boiled chickpeas and water cook it until the chickpeas cooked. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
