Detox Drink

Add 1.5 spoons of  lemon juice to water soaked overnight & Drink it in the morning or Add 2 spoons of lemon juice  Boil it with water and take it first thing in the morning.

BREAKFAST

Ponganalu:

Add chopped onions and tomatoes, green chillies (can also add grated carrot) to the dosa batter. Take the pan and grease it with a little oil. Pour the batter in the moulds. Do not fill the moulds completely, fill only 3/4th size of the moulds as the balls will rise when cooked.

LUNCH

Amaranthus dal:

 

Wash dal and soak in in a bowl for half an hour. Take a pan and boil 4 cups water in it. Add Dal, turmeric, salt, chili powder, amaranthud and stir well. Cover the pan and cook for 20 minutes. After the dal is cooked mash it and keep it aside. Now take a pan and add oil. Sauté the cumin and mustard seeds. Add the chopped onions and garlic and fry for a minute. Add the mashed dal along with the required amount of water and cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Add salt according to taste.

 

Ivy gourd fry:

Take a pan and add oil to heat. Then add cumin seeds, asafoetida, dry red chillies, turmeric powder, curry leaves and green chillies and saute them. Add the sliced ivy gourd to it fry until crispy. Then cover with a lid and cook for 15-20 mins to cook it all the way through. Add some chopped coriander, drizzle some lemon juice and serve hot with roti or rice.

 

SNACKS

 

Rice flakes with peanuts:

Heat a pan add oil to heat and peanuts and saute well for 2 minutes. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt and saute it. Add rice flakes to the pan mix them well and serve it.

DINNER

Bhenghan ka bharta:

On a medium flame roast it directly on the gas stove for 5-10 minutes. Make sure to change the sides and be careful while doing this. Once done, let it cool. Peel off the skin of the eggplant and chop it. Take a sauce pan and heat oil in it. Add cumin seeds. Add onions and saute until they turn golden brown. Then add ginger-garlic paste, tomato the pan. Cook for 2 minutes. Mix well. Add eggplant and salt. Mix again. Cook for another 5 minutes and serve hot.

 

Tomato cucumber salad:

Mix the thinly sliced tomatoes, onions and cucumbers. Now add pepper powder leamon juice and salt to taste.
