Detox Drink

Add 1.5 spoons of  lemon juice to water soaked overnight & Drink it in the morning or Add 2 spoons of lemon juice  Boil it with water and take it first thing in the morning.

BREAKFAST

Ragi dosa:

Wash urad dal(10gms), Ragi whole(100gms) and soak it in water. Drain the water and add them in a blender with some water as it makes a batter consistency (not too thick/thin). Transfer this to large bowl for fermentation for 8 hours. Add water, baking powder and salt as needed bring it to a pouring consistency. Heat the pan, coat it with oil and ladle full of batter in the center, spread it to a dosa. Allow it to cook and flip and cook on the other side until crisp.

LUNCH

Egg fried rice:

Put a pan over medium flame and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add chopped onions and saute them for 2-3 minutes. Add chopped carrots, capsicum, cabbage and cook for 3-4 minutes. Keep stirring and then add green chilli paste, tomato puree, salt and soy sauce.  Break the eggs into the pan and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes. Add boiled rice to the pan and mix well for 2-3 minutes.

Now, take a bowl and add mashed potatoes, chopped onions, cornstarch and black pepper into the bowl and mix them well. Shape the mixture into patties and keep them aside. Place a pan and pour oil in it. Once the oil is heated, add potato patties into it and shallow fry them until golden brown in colour. Transfer the patties onto a plate.

Now, in the same frying pan add cumin seeds, bay leaf, tomato-onion and cashew paste and stir well. Then add ginger and garlic paste and stir the mixture again. Next, add turmeric, chilli powder and coriander powder and cook the mixture. Pour water and cook the mixture on low flame for 4-5 minutes. Now add salt, sugar, garam masala, fenugreek leaves and stir the mixture well. Add this gravy mixture onto the potato patties and garnish the dish with coriander leaves. Serve it.

SNACKS

Makhana Bhel:

Heat a pan and add oil. Once the oil is hot enough and add the Makhana. Toss them well till they turn brownish in colour. Take grated carrot, chopped oinion, tomato, parsley in a bowl. Now add the makhana, veggies, lemon juice salt and chat masala to taste. Mix them well and serve it.

 

DINNER

Homemade noodles:

Take all purpose flour or wheat flour. Add some salt, baking soda (can also add egg whites to make it soft and savory)and water. Make the dough and keep it aside for two hours. Then roll the dough as thin as possible (make sure to coat it with flour as it doesn’t get stuck) and then cut it in to thin slices. Now, take a pan and water to boil and add cut noodles to the boiling water followed by a ½ tsp of oil. Boil them for 8-10 minutes and remove the water and keep them aside. Now, take a pan, add oil to heat, add thinly sliced carrots, onions, cabbage and capsicum and saute them well. Add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, salt to taste. Mix them well. Add noodles to the pan and soy sauce and cook it for 2 minutes. Serve it.
