Detox Drink
Add 1.5 spoons of lemon juice to water soaked overnight & Drink it in the morning or Add 2 spoons of lemon juice Boil it with water and take it first thing in the morning.
BREAKFAST
Poha:
Heat a pan and add oil to heat add urad dal, peanuts, cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Cook them for two minutes. Add chopped onions and saute them well. Add chopped tomatoes and other vegetables like carrot, green peas etc.., saute them well. Now, add washed poha to the pan and mix them well for 2 minutes. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
LUNCH
Aloo Kofta curry:
Wash potatoes and put them in a pressure cooker. Pour water into it and boil them. Once the potatoes are boiled, mash them using a masher and chop coriander leaves finely. Next, place a pan over medium flame and add water in it. Now, add tomatoes, onions and almonds and boil them for 8-10 minutes. Now, chop tomatoes and onions and put them in a blender. Also, put almonds in the blender and blend well. Make sure the consistency of the paste is thick.
Now, take a bowl and add mashed potatoes, chopped onions, cornstarch and black pepper into the bowl and mix them well. Shape the mixture into patties and keep them aside. Place a pan and pour oil in it. Once the oil is heated, add potato patties into it and shallow fry them until golden brown in colour. Transfer the patties onto a plate.
Now, in the same frying pan add cumin seeds, bay leaf, tomato-onion and cashew paste and stir well. Then add ginger and garlic paste and stir the mixture again. Next, add turmeric, chilli powder and coriander powder and cook the mixture. Pour water and cook the mixture on low flame for 4-5 minutes. Now add salt, sugar, garam masala, fenugreek leaves and stir the mixture well. Add this gravy mixture onto the potato patties and garnish the dish with coriander leaves. Serve it.
SNACKS
Lassi:
First, pour curd in a pot. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Now, whisk the curd mixture using a hand beater. Add water to the mixture and whisk it again for 2 minutes. In a long glass, add lassi along with ice cubes. Garnish it with chopped nuts.
DINNER
Dal makhani:
Soak urad dal and rajma overnight in three cups of water. Drain it and pressure cook in 6 cups of water with salt as per taste. This makes the rajma and dal soft. Take a pan on medium flame, then heat the oil and add the cumin seeds. Add half the ginger-garlic paste and stir for some time. Then add some onions, chopped green chillies and tomato puree. Fry until the mix turns golden. Add the pressure-cooked Rajma and dal, and bring to a boil. Then add garam masala and salt as per your taste. Stir well and bring to boil, if the dal is too thick, you can add some water. Then add some fresh cream to the pan and stir well. Garnish this with chopped coriander leaves.
