Shilatoranam

‘Shilatoranam’ is of great importance as a natural wonder.. as a historical heritage. This place is located at a distance of 11 km from Tirumala. This structure, which is naturally formed with rocks that befits the name, fills the tourists with surprise. If there are only three such formations in the world, the rock tower in Tirumala is one of them. This rock arch is associated with the beliefs of devotees as it is connected to Lord Venkateswara. This rock formation is protected as a national monument by the state government. It is a must-see for tourists visiting Tirupati.

Srivari Padala Mandapam

Situated at the foot of Tirumala Hills, Srivari Padala Mandapam is a must-visit for devotees taking the Alipiri footpath route to the Tirumala temple. En route the trek, pilgrims stop at this ancient temple to offer their prayers to Padala Venkateswara Swamy, i.e. feet of Lord Venkateswara. A unique sight at this temple is the huge padukas (footwear) offered by the pilgrims to the presiding deity.

Papavinasanam Dam

Srila Prabhupada, during his visit in 1974, suggested the teachings from Bhagwad Geeta be propagated by establishing a centre of Vedic Culture. ISKCON Tirupati was thus established in 1982 to revive the messages of Lord Krishna. It is a very big temple consisting of lord Krishna and nine Gopikas, regular poojas and bhajans done every day, and a small museum about the life history of lord Krishna. 

GOVINDA RAJULA SWAMI TEMPLE:

 Sri Govindarajaswami Temple is a 12th-century Hindu Vaishnavite shrine built by Saint Ramanujacharya and is one of the biggest temples in the district. The presiding deity is Lord Vishnu, also called Govindarajaswami. The beautiful traditional Dravidian architecture and its rich culture attract tourists in quite a large number every year. This temple is very near to the bus stand and railway station. A definite place to visit for Pilgrims.

VAKULA MATA TEMPLE 

Sri Vakula Matha Temple is located in Peruru village, which is 10 km from Tirumala hills and 5km from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.  Vakulamatha is the mother of lord Venkateswara, this temple is a great example of Mother-child love. This temple is located on the hill, and the scenery around the temple is mesmerizing.

KAPILA TEERATAM 

A Shaivite temple, Kapila Teertham is a famous pilgrimage in the city. The temple is located at the entrance of a mountain cave at the foothills of Tirumala Hills and is a marvellous example of Dravidian architecture. The right time to visit this temple is during the rainy season, with a waterfall on one side and a temple on the other side. This is a unique place of scenery and serenity at one place.
